Between ALBERT and PROYART, 14th June, 1918. This officer carried out a
comprehensive reconnaissance by night in heavy rain at a height of only 400
feet. He returned to his aerodrome in the face of a blinding storm, after a
flight of three hours. He has carried out sixty-four night bombing raids. His
courage and perseverance are exceptional. [7645558
