MORGAN, Lieut. Ernest Leslie ... ... ... ... ... R. F.A.

E. of YPRES, I5th October, 1917. For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty in continuing to assist in laying out new lines to the batteries, after having been himself half buried by a shell. During many days' operations it was entirely due to his fine example that communications from brigade headquarters to the batteries were kept intact.
